The Department is responsible for maintaining a safe and reliable infrastructure and providing quality services to Village residents and businesses. Public Works differs from other departments because some of the services provided by the Department are enterprise activities (Water & Sewer Services and Garbage Collection Services). Each enterprise activity is financed through user charges, which are set at a rate necessary to support ongoing operations, maintenance of capital infrastructure, and any long term obligations of enterprise activity.
