Spring Camp 2024
Lyons 103 Spring Camp will run from Monday, April 1, to Friday, April 5. The fee for the camp is $100 per child for the entire week. Daily hours are set from 9 AM to 3 PM, with optional before and after care services offered at an extra charge. The camp welcomes all Lyons residents and students from District 103,
Easter Egg Hunt
Come out to Cermak Park for our Annual Easter Egg Hunt on Sunday, March 24th. The festivities kick off promptly at 11 AM, so be sure to arrive early. Not only will the Easter Bunny be there, but we’ll also have food, music, candy, and a chance to win prizes. We can’t wait to see you there!
Early Voting
Early Voting is now open through Monday, March 18 in the community room at Lyons Village Hall. The polls will be open: Monday – Saturday: 9 AM – 5 PM Sundays: 10 AM – 4 PM
Water Rate Adjustments 2024
Due to the increases in water rates from the City of Chicago, the Village of Lyons is implementing a variable water rate adjustment beginning Feb 1, 2024. The water rates are as follows: Account Type: Flat Rate: (0-4,000 gallons) Additional usage:(Per 1,000 gallons) Residential: $59.00 per billing
Winter Fitness Classes
New Year, New You! Join us for our Winter Fitness Classes running through Saturday, February 24. We’ll have fitness classes twice a week and a yoga class once a week. Senior Christmas Party
Mark your calendars for our Senior Christmas Party on Sunday, December 10, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Lyons Village Hall. Doors open at noon. We invite all seniors to join us for an afternoon of food, music, and holiday cheer. We can’t wait to see you soon!
Children’s Breakfast with Santa
We’re kicking off the holiday season with our annual Children’s Breakfast with Santa on Sunday, December 3 at the Lyons Village Hall from 10 AM – 12 PM. It will be a morning of food, crafts, and pictures with Santa. Bring the family and join us for fun holiday festivities.
Village Hall Closed for Thanksgiving Holiday
Village Hall will be closing on Wednesday, November 22 at 5 PM and remain closed through the weekend in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday. There will be no garbage pickup on Thursday, November 23rd. Thursday’s garbage route will be picked up Friday and Friday’s route will be picked up Saturday.
Veterans Day Ceremony
This Saturday, November 11, is our annual Veterans Day Ceremony. Join us at the Lyons Village Hall at 11 AM to honor and pay tribute to all who have served. We hope to see you there!
Pickleball Clinics
We’re excited to launch Pickleball Clinics this month at the Smith Park Tennis Courts. Each 90 minute session will be led by Coach Barb and Coach Ed. Clinics will go over rules, scoring, court positioning, and mechanics. Each clinic requires pre-registration (limit 8 people per session). Sessions are free for all participants.
