Water & Garbage Rate Adjustments Starting July 1, 2021

Due to increases in water rates from the City of Chicago, the Village of Lyons is implementing a variable water rate adjustment beginning July 1, 2021. New LED Street Lights

The Village of Lyons recently completed the installation of new LED lighting to all of the Village owned and operated street light fixtures. Alley Pavement Resumes This Summer

Village President Christopher Getty announced that the village will resume the village program to replace and upgrade neighbor­hood alleyways. All Water Meters Will Be Replaced To Improve Accuracy And Efficiency

The Village of Lyons Board of Trustees voted in 2015 to re­place all of the water meters for the village’s 3,336 water service customers including residential homes and businesses.
