Alley Pavement Resumes This Summer
Village President Christopher Getty announced that the village will resume the village program to replace and upgrade neighborhood alleyways. All Water Meters Will Be Replaced To Improve Accuracy And Efficiency
The Village of Lyons Board of Trustees voted in 2015 to replace all of the water meters for the village’s 3,336 water service customers including residential homes and businesses. The Village of Lyons Board of Trustees have set July 10, 2017 as the date for the tear-down of the former village Fire House at 4043 S.Joliet Ave. The abandoned Fire House will be replaced with a parking area serving the Lyons Fire Department and Emergency response personnel.
